I purchased the first set for the Honda CRF300L and Chad nailed it!
When I purchased my 300, I knew I wanted the HDB guards as they were on two of my bikes already.
These are bomb proof!

CRF300L owners – Beware! Read the fine print before you buy. The KIT does NOT FIT on the stock 7/8 bars. It is made for 1 1/8 fat bars ONLY.
I’m taking two stars out due to the fact that HDB does not make it obvious that this a FATBAR only KIT. Yes it is written in the FAQ. It is also hidden under “options”.
Instead your reading everything. I called and asked – Hello I have a CRF300L what do I need for this? “You will have to tap the bar… That’s it – tool provided”.
WRONG. The correct answer was “You only have to tap the bar as long as your have fatbar and the adapter 7/8 to 1 1/8.”
Otherwise, yes this thing is bomb proof. These are the ruggedest handguards I’ve seen (over Zeta, Barkbusters, Acerbis, etc…) the load of attachments available for it is also quite impressive. Once your figure fatbar is not an option.
